Sulitjelma
Throughout almost the entire 20th century, Sulitjelma was an important Norwegian mining town right on the Swedish border in Nordland. Archaeological finds show that there has been Sami settlement here over 1000 years ago. Today it is a place for great experiences in wonderful nature. We recommend a stay in the historic mining village Jakobsbakken, just south of Sulitjelma.v
